TWITTER HOW-TO TIP #77
What’s best? PHP or Javascript for your Twitter RSS feeds? Here’s the deal… there are many services, gadgets and widgets that make displaying Twitter posts on your blog or site very easy:
However, you must be aware that Google and other search engine spiders are blind to Javascript and Javascript feed displays (this includes most gadgets and widgets). So while a visitor can read your Twitter feed at your blog or site, Google can not.
If your goal is to get your Twitter feeds (and the pages they are on) ranked in Google, a javascript solution will do you no good. The answer to this challenge is to use an ASP or PHP server based script to render your Twitter feed as real text and HTML on your blog or site. To find an “ASP Feed Script,” just do a Google search. I have always wanted to do this but had absolutely no idea of how to put it all together! James, your system is by far the greatest system for a complete business I have ever seen. I made $600 on my first gig and booked another one from it. Thank you James. You really have not only helped me, but also changed my life for the better!"
Thanks for everything. Your program is really amazing! I have been a bartender for 12 years, I love it. I have worked in some real cool bars in Atlantic City, now I live in FL and work in a cool bar. I am a bartender period. Anyhow enough about how awesome I am.
I am almost done building my own portable bar from barplan.com. Also Elance was great I had my logo design done by someone on elance. Thanks again James!!
